Faith Love and Marriage October 6th 2012

Mr. & Mrs. Jeremy & Natalie Macke gave us the
pleasure of helping them through every aspect of their wedding as Full Planning
Clients. When we first met Natalie and her mother Monica they wanted to go over
the details of our contract very carefully, which was a good sign for us. We
knew right away that this was going to be a client who would
communicate to us exactly what they want and with that, we would be able to
guide them to the wedding of their dreams. Natalie is honest, humble and
beautiful inside and out, which made working for her and Jeremy not only
pleasurable but an honor. Since Faith is the cornerstone of their lives, we
wanted to make sure that guests felt that presence throughout the wedding. When looking through the photos below notice that Natalie and Jeremy are not just posing they are praying. You will see details such as crosses, bibles and tables named after bible verses. Our classic conservative couple used a color palate blending neutral champagnes with hues of greys then added an elegant touch of purples which we felt paired beautifully with the Toledo Country Clubs interior. From concept to completion you can see how we captured Natalie’s soft kind nature, Jeremy’s consistent commitment to her and their shared love for the outdoors all while telling their story of Faith Love & Marriage.

Kati & Bryan are Married~An Elite Event

Kati & Bryan are finally Married, and here are the photos to prove it :) As you all know our very own Event Coordinator Kati, was married a few weeks ago.  I wanted to take a few minutes to share with you a slide show that I put together of images from her fabulous photographer MARYWYAR.

The day could not have been any more PERFECT.  It was such a wonderful day, not just for Kati and Bryan but for me as well.  For the past 9 months I have been working side by side these 2 and assisting them bring their vision of their ideal wedding day to fruition.  The look on their faces when they saw everything come together was priceless, and something I will always remember.   The entire place was exactly what they had envisioned. Tailored,  Sophisticated and accented with gorgeous flowers.  Little elements referencing their love for their favorite band (Dave Mathews) surrounded them in a tasteful fashion, and made their event very unique and personal.

It was my honor to not only guide you through your day but to actually be apart of it as well.  Much Love to you both as you being this wonderful new chapter of life together!

Head on over to Marys blog to see for yourself just how fabulous their day really was!

On Top of Mt. Holly

Sneak Peak into our Real Wedding: Brandon & Katie

Vintage Romance is how I would describe this beautiful wedding. Every detail is packed with personality in a lovely vintage package. Katie and Brandon’s guests enjoyed a ski lift ride up to the top of Mt. Holly, were they experienced a picturesque ceremony followed by tea, lemonade and a entertaining hay ride to the reception.
Katie’s parents Sue and Joe were such a pleasure to work with. This is one creative couple. Each and every detail was Sue’s vision and with Joe and Elite Events assistance her vision became a reality. It was wonderful see how all of the details and planning finally came together. Sue is a avid collector of all things vintage. She has spent the last several years collecting, vases, candle holders, vessels, candelabras, rustic doors, old ski’s etc. She finally found the perfect way to utilize all of her fabulous finds. The ski lodge at Mt. Holly was the perfect backdrop for Katie and Brandon’s wedding celebration, and what a celebration it was! The reception was aglow with roughly 300 candles, and the smell of fresh flowers filled the air. This wedding was exactly what the couple envisioned, unique, beautiful and a whole lot of FUN! Congratulations Katie and Brandon it was a sincere pleasure handling all of your day of details!

It begins with an invitation :) Love these pocket fold invites!

Fall Fever?

Fall Favors Your Guests Will Love!
Favors are fun! They are a great way to thank your guests for sharing your special day with you. Find a favor that says something about you as a couple, is something you love, or is something that compliments your day. Here are some ideas for fabulously fall favors that celebrate the season and that your guests would love!

Mugs & Apple Cider: Giving every guest their own jar glass is a favor they can use throughout the night. Having cider or hot chocolate would add to the fall celebration. Don’t forget the cinnamon sticks!

Photo Booth: Everyone loves to take pictures and be in pictures. Not only is a photo booth a fun activity for guests during the reception, but you can make a scrapbook of all your guests’ fun. A great way to make it unexpected is to provide a fall backdrop and props! We know some great photobooth vendors :)

Maple Syrup: If you love pancakes and french toast then give the gift of delicious syrup. Maple syrup tastes like fall and is a great way to bring you into the cozy months.

Jam “Spread the Love”: Whether it’s your favorite flavor or your grandma’s favorite recipe, giving your guests a jar of jam or jelly is a memorable favor. There is nothing like homemade jam and maybe this would be the perfect task for that aunt or mother in law hoping to help make the day special!

Pumpkin Seeds: What an unexpected seasonal snack! If you have pumpkins as part of your decor then giving your guests pumpkin seeds is a fun way to tie it all together.
