Faith Love and Marriage October 6th 2012

Mr. & Mrs. Jeremy & Natalie Macke gave us the
pleasure of helping them through every aspect of their wedding as Full Planning
Clients. When we first met Natalie and her mother Monica they wanted to go over
the details of our contract very carefully, which was a good sign for us. We
knew right away that this was going to be a client who would
communicate to us exactly what they want and with that, we would be able to
guide them to the wedding of their dreams. Natalie is honest, humble and
beautiful inside and out, which made working for her and Jeremy not only
pleasurable but an honor. Since Faith is the cornerstone of their lives, we
wanted to make sure that guests felt that presence throughout the wedding. When looking through the photos below notice that Natalie and Jeremy are not just posing they are praying. You will see details such as crosses, bibles and tables named after bible verses. Our classic conservative couple used a color palate blending neutral champagnes with hues of greys then added an elegant touch of purples which we felt paired beautifully with the Toledo Country Clubs interior. From concept to completion you can see how we captured Natalie’s soft kind nature, Jeremy’s consistent commitment to her and their shared love for the outdoors all while telling their story of Faith Love & Marriage.

Jamie & Schuyler~An Elite Event Sneak Peek

This fall is super busy for us, but we can’t complain because we love what we do.  This weekend we had the pleasure of assisting Jamie & Schuyler with their beautiful wedding  at the  Toledo Country Club.  Despite the rain, that forced us to move the ceremony indoors, the wedding was as beautiful as the bride and we had top notch vendors that assisted us in making their day perfection every step of the way!

I just wanted to share with you some images that we captured of their set and decor!

We had the pleasure of assisting Jamie & Schuyler with almost all aspects of their design including: Invitation Design, Floral Design, decor and linens.

One of my favorites is the precious flower girl purse!

Each table had a great mix of silver metal vessels for the flowers as well as accents of glass.

Each flower type was hand selected by the bride based on special memories she has of each of those flower types.  As a world traveling couple this couple had many small details that were incorporated into their special day.  Enjoy!

I cant wait to share the professional photos by their wedding photographer

More details to follow with the full post!

An Elite Event-Tiffany & Trent

A few weeks ago one of our fabulous Elite Couples tied the knot!!! Hear what their Photographer Echo from Echo by Design had to say about there day:

Gray clouds loomed in the sky as they passed with the slight breeze of the
Lake Erie air. {Perfect light and weather for the afternoon!}   One would have
thought that the August day closely resembled a day in late September or
October.  Tiffany + Trent couldn’t have asked for a better break of heat in
August!  It was amazingly comfortable and for Tiffany’s sake, no watery eyes.
{Due to bright sunlight.}

I met Tiffany as she was readying all of her things for the day!  Her hair
was done in gorgeous curls and makeup wasn’t far off from beginning.  We swept
her dress and details away before Trent was to arrive, and left her to her
bridesmaids!  Outside the church stood tall and her dress looked beautiful
against the large stones.  Not before long after we safely returned her dress,
the sound of the Nova was evident outside the front of the church.  It was the
signal that Trent and his guys had arrived!  We met them outside and they were
already having a good time.  During their portrait session, we joked and
laughed, and I tried so hard to master everyone’s name.  Which normally I don’t
have a problem with!  {For some reason they all just looked alike to me that

Inside the church we were at the moment that Tiffany had the opportunity to
dive into her dress.  As the girls were lacing her up, one of them mentioned
that after 6 years she finally was going to walk down the aisle to become
Trent’s wife.  It didn’t take long for her to laugh and then really soak it in.
She teared up. Then tear after tear fell, as the girls were frantically blowing
on her face to make her laugh so that she wouldn’t mess up her gorgeous

The moment she had envisioned was nearing ever so close. She made her way
upstairs as he father planted a kiss on her cheek.  This time she couldn’t stop
beaming from ear to ear, and that smile followed her all the way down the aisle.
The doors swung open and Trent saw his beautiful bride for the first time.  He
returned her smile and watched her process towards him.  Then finally they met.
Even after the ceremony began they whispered back and forth as they were seated
next to each other.  It was one of those rejoice moments in my heart, to see
that two people whom were ever so happy, were finally getting their
moment!  I knew exactly what they were feeling.  Exactly how
that moment felt like.  So beautiful and so cherishable.

Megan & Logan~ An Elite Event~ 07.07.2012

This just goes to show that even on one of the hottest days of the year you can have a absolutely beautiful wedding!  Megan has worked at Elite Events for almost 2 years now, and in those 2 years I have had the sincere pleasure of getting to know her and her family and could not have been more excited to be apart of such a monumental moment in her life.  Logan and Megan make an adorable couple, and I wish nothing but sincere happiness for them as they begin their journey as husband and wife.

Now….on to details about their wedding day!  It was a beautiful and very hot day 100 degrees on Catawba Island.  Megan and Logans wedding and reception took place at Megan’s parents home which featured a breathtaking view of Lake Erie complete with a white sandy beach where the ceremony would take place, a gorgeous jetti where Megan & Logan would have their first dance and a beautiful grassy area perfect for a tented reception!

Megan & Logan envisioned a Beachy, colorful and fun wedding.  They wished to incorporate some of their favorite colors, songs, and foods which would transport their guests into their world.

Although the road to the “perfect” wedding was not easy for them, their wedding day was nothing short of just that PERFECTION.

Without further ado……

There were many fun surprises throughout the night.  Considering Lilies provided their eyecandy photobooth.  Since Logans family owns Toft’s Ice Cream, They served Toft’s ice cream with cake, and as guests enjoyed the firework display (Meg LOVES fireworks, they were a surprise from her parents) we surprised her and her guests with a hot pretzel station as a late night snack! (also one of Meg & Logans favorite treats!)

Megan’s mom custom built their white pergola! Which is now available for rent through Elite Events!

Simple chair decorations provide great color to the aisle

Megan and Logan opted for cupcakes instead of a large wedding cake.

Wedding programs that doubled as fans helped keep the guests cool in the extreme heat, as did iced towels and bottled waters!

I was lucky enough to be waiting for the new Mr. and Mrs. right as they completed their walk down the aisle and snapped this photo, you can see just how insanely happy they are!
