Meet Faith and Jeff Poprik!
Faith & Jeff married on the beautiful Island of Put In Bay on June 29th! We had the sincere pleasure of Working with Faith, Jeff and Faiths lovely mother Ann during the planning process. We had a ton of fun bringing their vision for a classy nautical inspired event to life. From my very first meeting with Faith, I knew we were going to work together perfectly! She actually saw our featured weddings and an editorial that the Knot magazine did on me and that is when she decided to contact me in hopes of bringing Elite Events on board. She also let me know that she wanted to bring Mary Wyar from Mary Wyar photography on to be her photographer! Lucky for us Mary had the date available and was as excited as we were. She also had some amazing and super fun ideas which SOLD in the first 5 minutes of our meeting! I was super excited!
I worked with Faith to create a custom monogram that we would use to brand her event. One of my favorite pieces was the save the date. We wanted guests to be excited from the moment they received their save the date! And that they were!
the pattern featured on the back of the save the date was inspired by one of the linens that we selected to incorporate for the reception. Please enjoy as you see how we turned Faith and Jeff’s Creative Vision into a reality!
The flowers that Sharon Johnson our Floral designer created were breathtaking. They were the perfect accent to the wedding parties attire. The Bouquets were tied with nautical rope and finished off with a nautical knot. Very fitting for this wedding.
The groomsmen were adorned with super fun and sophisticated stripe ties! Sharon completed the boutineers with a nautical knot made from nautifal rope, it was the perfect accent. This wedding was all about the details!
The ceremony took place at a beautiful private residence on the island overlooking lake erie and perrys monument.
The isle was fairly long so we also incorporated mason jars that hung from shepords hook by nautical rope.
One of the most unique ceremony departures, Faith and Jeff boarded her Uncles boat and took that to the reception site!
The card box was actually a real lobster cage that the groom had found online from maine. It was a great touch! For the guestbook the guests were asked to sign white wooden oars that the Faith and Jeff would then display in their home!
I have to say the reception decor blew me away! I invisioned these chandeilers made from ships wheels and Chris brought my vision to a reality. From the tent swagging, to the lighting, the accents of oars, ships wheals, nautical flags, rope, patterned linens, bright florals etc, every inch of this has something visually pleasing to capture your attention.
