I’d like you to meet Shannon & Mike!

What a lovely pair these 2 are! It is always nice to assist someone you know with the design and coordination of their own wedding. Shannon and I actually graduated high school together and last year Kati married Shannon’s brother, so Shannon is Kati’s sister in law.
Shanon and Mike had some lovely ideas to incorporate into their wedding, from eclectic antique finds, to modern fabrics, artsy touches paying tribute to Mike’s background as an artist, and Shannon’s love for Books, this event and all of it’s personal touches came together beautifully.
See how our process evolved, from a creative concept on paper to the finished event!

Brushed silver lanterns with bright yellow flowers flanked the modern and fabric aisle runner, really making a vibrant impact to the ceremony.
handmade signage directed guests to the ceremony and provided a bit of entertainment as well
a vintage suitcase held their wedding programs, and a aqua mason jar serves as
the perfect vase for the flowers representing loved ones who had passed
Shannon & Mike had cootie catcher programs, I LOVED IT! Great way to keep your guests entertained and informed!
Refreshing lemonade station offered to guests during cocktail hour
In love with the mix of modern pattern, mixed with metal finishes and ornate florals.
homemade cookies are a long standing tradition with Shannon’s family so they offered their favorite cookies as desserts at the sweet table.
This cake was custom design to coordinate with the color scheme and each flower was to resemble that of a fabric flower. The best part, each one was edible.
Love the use of the vintage books to bring in the aqua color, as well as the simple floral arrangements that provide that punch of color!
Tying in with the Grooms artist background, each table number was held up by a small artist easel.
There are sooo many other details to this wedding, that I cant wait to share. Be on the watch for the Professional images from Noelle Ann Photography via our blog as well!
